Handcrafted Wooden Clocks made from Cedar & Douglas Fir in Leadore, ID

$75 Handcrafted Wooden Clocks made from Cedar & Douglas Fir

These clocks are very unique, and 100% hand made by us. We cut the trees into slabs using our own sawmill, sand to a smooth surface, cut out the back for the clock movement, finish with a high gloss clear coat, and finally attach the clock dial, hands, and the movement. We also put our own mounting hardware on the back of some of them so that they are well balanced on your wall, or you can hang them from the movement itself with the built in hanger. We use 'Rocky Mountain Red cedar, and Douglas fir wood so far to date, and planning on using other types of wood in the future.
The cedar wood has a beautifully colored grain inside that is more of a purple color than red. No two clocks are ever exactly alike, some have open faced dials, and others have a solid metal dial with Arabic or Roman numerals, fancy faces, brass hands, or black hands.
The Douglas fir clocks have the bark left on intentionally, and some of the moss as well for a more natural look. All of the cedar clocks have bark left on the outer edges as well, and some have bark on the back. We have both round slabs, those are the Douglas fir, and long ones too. They range from 29" to 33" long X 7-9" wide, 5/8" to 1 3/4" thick, and the round ones are approx. 17" wide and 2" thick. Prices range from $75.00 to $125.00.
